Storekeeper

The job incumbent will be responsible for the safekeeping and movement of goods at the warehouse in accordance with established company procedures and processes.

 Main Responsibilities

• To ensure and monitor the preparation of goods for our different customers within acceptable time frame
• To receipt and verify all incoming local and foreign purchases according to established procedures and promptly communicate any issue to the Team Leader - Warehouse
• To ensure that all outgoing stock items tally with relative customer orders, in terms of description, quantity and quality
• To be responsible for the optimization of space within the warehouse to accommodate incoming products
• To ensure that Goods Received Notes (GRN) are raised for all incoming foreign purchases
• To ensure that warranty cards are inserted inside each product during the internal transfers or delivery to customers.
• To ensure that loan & bumped items are segregated, properly tagged and closely monitored.
• To carry out cycle counts as per set schedule
• To ensure good housekeeping of the warehouse

Profile

• Higher School Certificate
• Certificate in Stores management
• Service-oriented attitude
• Experience in a similar position is a definite advantage
• IT literate & good knowledge of MS Office
• Able to work odd hours and under pressure
• Detailed oriented and meticulous
