Good Organisational skills Team player attitude Diploma in purchasing and supplies/storekeeping would be an advantage. Minimum two years experience in a similar position. Good Knowledge of inventory management and stocktaking procedures. Imports and Exports procedures
Maintains and updates inventory records & database.
Perform all daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management.
To record in & out in accordance with established procedures.
Ensure availability of stock items for repairs & installations.
Manage inventory levels to maximise cash flows & storage space.
Manage & minimize redundant stock, stock loss & Stock wastage.
Ensure physical inventory is organized by item for ease of selection.
Raise purchase requests in line with supplier lead times & mininum reorder levels.
Monitor & review outstanding sales orders to ensure prompt action on allocated stock items.
Monitor overseas orders for timely delivery.
Ensures imports costings are delivered promptly.
