Store Clerk

Leal Communications & Informatics is actually looking for a Store Clerk for immediate employment.

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

- Responsible for the reception of goods in Store.

- To organise and perform an efficient binning of parts.

- To maintain proper orderliness, classification, cleanliness and strict access to the Store.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-        To perform close verification and proper counting of incoming packages.

-        To ensure that all discrepancies identified on receipt of consignment are immediately reported.

-        To ensure that parts are properly and safely displayed in their respective Bin and ensures that all Bin locations are properly labelled and easily identifiable.

-        To ensure that parts are delivered within the shortest delay to Workshop and Counter customer.

-        To process shipments and Sales Return Orders on the System.

-        To despatch documents.

-        To perform physical count of fast moving items and prepare the weekly stock report.

-        To perform monthly spot checks and reports on any anomaly found.

-        To perform monthly stock count for all parts in workshop.

-        To file and archive documents in a structured way for easy identification and retrieval.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

-        Minimum SC

-        Certificate /Diploma in Storekeeping would constitute an advantage

-        At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position 

-        Experience in an IT environment would constitute and advantage

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

-        Pleasant and outgoing personality 

-        High degree of self-motivation and ambition 

-        Strong Team Spirit

-        Ability to show high efficiency and productivity at work

-        Very good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

-        Very familiar with Microsoft office tools including outlook
