LUX* Resorts & Hotels is hiring for the position of Stewarding Supervisor for LUX* Grand Gaube.
The successful incumbent will be responsible to:
1) Assist the Chief Steward in planning and coordinating the smooth and efficient operation of the Stewarding department.
2) Coordinate the daily needs for equipments to be used in the various Food & Beverage outlets.
3) Ensure regular maintenance of the dishwashing and other equipments, report defects and follow up.
4) Order detergents and other materials as needed and prepare consumption report.
5) Conduct frequent spot-checks within the Stewarding section in order to monitor compliance with established procedures and hygiene.
6) Perform monthly stock inventory with the collaboration of the Chief Steward.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1) At least a Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
EXPERIENCE:
1) A minimum of 5 year of working experience in the hospitality industry.
2) A minimum of 1 year of working experience as Senior Steward or Steward Supervisor in a 4 or 5 Star resort.

5) Aware of and conform to the resorts and Health & Safety rules and regulations.
6) Organisational and time management skills.
7) Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and French languages.
8) Willingness to work during odd hours, weekends as well as on public holidays.
9) Valid Food Handlers’ Certificate.
10) A clean certificate of character is a must.
