Be responsible for the daily running of the Spa/Gym and for the overall supervision of the Spa/Gym team to deliver an outstanding service to the customers.
Core Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the daily running of the Spa/Gym and for the overall supervision of the Spa/Gym team to deliver an outstanding service to the customers.
- In line with the Marketing Department, develop creative strategies to stimulate sales, promote the business and the brand.
- Achieve budgeted revenue, membership targets and financial goals for the year.
- Monitor expenses and monitor opportunities to manage operational costs and boost the bottom line.
- Fully coach, train and lead the spa/gym team.
- Guide business decisions by remaining updated of Spa industry trends.
- Implement full spa product list and services in accordance with seven colours and Indigo standards, ensuring that customer needs are always being met.
- Check that equipment is always in good working order.
- Manage inventory and develop procedures for inventory control.
- Be fully responsible for the compliance to health and safety, sanitation, as well as all Management systems in place.
Desired Profile
- Diploma in Spa Therapy
- At least 3 years solid experience as Spa Manager in a 4 star Hotel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (both English and French)
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.
- Dependable with the ability to work a flexible schedule
- Leadership skills & ability to manage both individual and team performance
- Customer driven with a strong business acumen
- Excellent grooming
- IT literate with a sound financial knowledge
- Capacity to be proactive and creative
