Our client is seeking to recruit a Showroom Manager.
Responsibilities
To manage the daily operations and interactions of the company;
To lead and supervise the sales towards achieving and exceeding sales targets;
To ensure an excellent team spirit;
To coach on quality selling techniques and excellent product knowledge so that customer service remains at a high professional level;
To ensure that the pricing strategy is in line with the budget and responds effectively to the competitive environment;
To work in collaboration with the Marketing Department to develop and initiate new marketing strategies and to develop new lines of products;
To organise for attractive and innovative display of products in the showroom at all times;
To plan and organise events and any other related activities in close collaboration with the Marketing Department;
To maintain awareness of and to keep updated with the developments in products/brands and to share findings with the team;
To manage stock and be responsible for stock transfers and transactions;
To initiate actions regarding slow moving items and old stock as and when required;
To organise and carry out inventory as and when required;
To ensure that the showroom amenities are as per the required standards;
To perform any other cognate duties as and when requested and assigned by Management.
Profile
Holder of a diploma in Sales/Marketing/Management;
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in similar position will be an advantage;
Excellent communication skills and outgoing person;
Dynamic and ability to work under pressure as well as odd hours;
Holder of a valid driving license;
Having a passion for motorbikes will constitute an advantage.
