Shop Assistant

• SC level or equivalent and/or prior professional experience • Prior experience as sales girl in shop or boutique • Fluent in English and French

• Follow the set procedures for opening and closing the shop

• Ensure that the boutique is always tidy and clean

• Dress the shop window and arrange items creatively or as per standards

• Prepare a receipt for guests when a sale is closed, and records the sale (cash or credit)

• Prepare cash and credit summary, balances the account and submit all cash, receipts and credit summary to receptionist on a daily basis

• Ensure that all sale figures are input on the system

• Ensure of sufficient stock of items at all times

• Make requisitions of items when minimum par stock is reached

• Properly store the items to avoid any wastage
