Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science or any related field

Experience:

4 - 7 years in Testing/Functional Activities

• Minimum coding experience
• Good analytical skills
• Focus on small details
• Quick learner
• Able to work under pressure
• Conversant in both English and French (both written and spoken)
• Extrovert with good communication skills while able to work in a team
• Good knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Proficient in manual testing including
  • Writing TC
  • Proper understanding of testing terminologies
  • Execute test cases
  • Able to read a functional document with minimum assistance
  • Be critical and don’t hesitate to ask questions
  • Has some knowledge of test management tool including but not restricted to  HP ALM
  • Able to log defects such that the technical team can reproduce the defect
  • Good knowledge of test management
  • Able to provide proper estimates of tasks assigned while respecting the said budget
  • Has a basic understanding of automation and ready to learn automation & performance testing

Other Requirements:

• Certified in ISTQB would be a definite advantage
• Good knowledge of SQL will be an advantage
• Knowledge of Agile testing is a good to have
• Knowledge of test automation tools including Selenium, HP QTP, IBM RFT among others would be an advantage
