Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, a Management Company in the finance services sector, is looking for a Senior Client Accountant / Client Accountant.

Our client, a Management Company in the finance services sector, is looking for a Senior Client Accountant / Client Accountant.

Reporting to the Manager Accounts, the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of bookkeeping and accounting for a portfolio of prestigious clients and provide assistance with supervisory tasks and projects as and when required.

Main responsibilities:

• Attend to audit queries and liaise with auditors and ensure finalisation of audit within relevant deadlines.
• Maintain a schedule of investments for a portfolio of Funds, calculate and reconcile NAV calculations.
• Maintenance of accounts tracker and achieve budgeted accounts production targets.
• Liaise with key partners i.e. MRA, FSC, auditors and key providers in the financial services industry.
• Maintain an awareness of the legal and regulatory framework within which the company operates.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of the company’s policies and procedures, ensuring they are adhered to in the course of day to day activities.
• Work with management to develop appropriate processes and procedures.
• Use of NAVISION effectively and efficiently.
• Ensuring tax filing and tax compliance for the portfolio of clients.
• Handle tax inquiries, schedule meetings with tax advisors/clients/ intermediaries, attend phone calls and subsequent follow-ups.
• Understand and apply the company’s compliance policies and procedures in respect of sanctions, AML and Anti-Bribery. Report suspicious transactions and complaints in accordance with the procedures and guide colleagues if needed.
• Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and apply this to the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting of the clients.

Qualification:

• Fully or partly qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA)
• 3-5 years accounting experience in the Global Business sector
• Knowledgeable about IFRS
