Main Duties
- Apply all safety and security instructions to safeguard property, assets and personnel
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security
- Control traffic flow on site by directing drivers
- Perform frequent patrolling of property to prevent intrusion by unauthorized people
- Conduct routine checks on employees and contractors bags when exiting the premises.
- Report any incident immediately
- Observe and record all significant happening in the log book and report to the Chief Security Officer
- Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend violators
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum SC
- At least 2 years of proven working experience in a similar function
- Prior experience in the construction industry would be an advantage
- Good written and oral communication skills (English & French)
Other Requisites
- Clean morality certificate
- Physically fit
- Flexible to work on a shift system
- Former training in Fire Fighting / First Aid / Police Force would be desirable
