Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, in the retail/wholesale and distribution sector, is looking for a Sales and Marketing Supervisor.

 

Our client, in the retail/wholesale and distribution sector, is looking for a Sales and Marketing Supervisor.

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible to lead and actively participate in the marketing intelligence process (competitors’ activities, new product introduction, price changes etc).

Main responsibilities:

  • Systemic follow up in order to strive to achieve set targets by management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of tactical promotions to drive profitable sales volumes.
  • Visit key customers on a regular basis reporting on sales performance, promotional activities and viable opportunities.
  • Act as a leading developer for:

        a)   New prospects (securing new customers)

        b)  New products/brands (listing new items)

  • Ensure the smooth running of the small team (department or inter departmental communication, collaboration and team cohesion & discipline).
  • Manage the complaint handling system and procedure backed up with action taken and records.
  • Coach, train or mentor team as appropriate.
  • Drive/control (with sales reps and sales & marketing coordinator) merchandisers’ team to fulfil merchandising and execution targets profitably.
  • Monitor/follow up return inwards products together with sales & marketing coordinator & sales reps.
  • Stay abreast with delivery schedules for timely visit for merchandisers.
  • Monitor merchandisers (trade) daily check list and conduct back checking & surprise checks when required.
  • Monitor the screening of return inwards from trade.
  • Visit trade customers with/without sales & marketing reps for training & mentoring or back checking purposes.

Qualification:

  • Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing.
  • At least 2 years of expertise and proven record of accomplishment in a similar position in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Sector would be an advantage.

Candidate profile:

  • Valid driving licence (private car)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Good team player that can also be an inspiring leader for his sales team.
  • Learn fast/grasps new ideas & concepts.
