SENIOR FULL STACK WEB DEVELOPER

Dragon Electronics Ltd is currently looking to recruit dynamic and proactive Senior Full Stack Web Developer.

Procuring project requirements

• New Dragon Electronics e-commerce website project
• Fully functional registration and online purchase system —> possibility to create an Individual Account (B2C) or a Corporate Account (B2B). A Corporate Account can auto-generate a quote from cart items.
• Social login
• Link website account to Facebook/Instagram/Google account for ad audience targeting
• Email system for online purchase status updates, wishlist prompts, “product in cart” prompts
• Customer purchase history from company MIS linked to registered user account (after first online purchase)
• Improving review system and integrating Google and/or Facebook reviews
• Migrating existing customer and product data to new website database
• Care & Maintenance, including FAQ, user manual for each product, and a ticketing system (submit ticket for servicing/reparation or spare parts)
• Blog for archiving events

Studying project requirements and creating end-to-end latest solutions

• Use of latest solutions for optimal website performance
• Research our local customer profile for user flow on website
• Research e-commerce websites to understand and apply best practices
• Consider latest website trends

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

• Website architecture should be clear and structured
• Website content inventory & auditing

Designing user interface/experience

• Improve responsive design for desktop and mobile
• Easy navigation (breadcrumb path)
• Easy to find a product
• Contact Us in one click [Less is More]
• Accessibility
• New design for home page, menu page, product page, etc
• Improve user-friendly features, e.g. when scrolling down, navigation bar is hidden. When scrolling up, navigation bar appears

Admin page optimised for Customer Relationship Team (CRT)

• View & update order status. Add function to input MIS invoice number & invoice date for both Cash & Credit orders. Add a button to send receipt (confirmed payment) email
• Add/update/hide/archive product data, e.g. features, price, communication tag. If hidden (NPI / out-of-stock status) or archived (EOL status), product page should not be indexed in web browsers.
• Update customer data, e.g. change email or reset password
• Search function for customer, e.g. customer details, purchase details, service details
• Approve customer review
• Liaise with Rogers Capital Team in case of issue with Credit Platform

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Web Development, Software Engineering or relevant experience
• 3-4 years of experience in the field
