RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities:
• Be responsible for the smooth running of the Room Service
• Be alert and ensure that the service is at all times performed in a professional manner and as per the Standard of the Hotel.
• Assist the FNB Manager in the administration of the Room Service.
• Be aware of and promote all services offered in the Hotel.
• Ensure that all guest wishes are met so far as is reasonably possible.
• Organise and supervise correct mise en place.
• Obtain feedback from guests and use this to improve service in collaboration with the FNB Manager.
• Ensure that the Room Service area is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Full awareness of the Hotels Fire Safety procedures and Health and Safety regulations.
• Ensure that Management Systems such as ISO 22000 are correctly adhered to.
• Any other cognate duties as delegated by the FNB Manager.
EXPERIENCE
Desired Profile:
• HSC Holder
• At least 5 years experience in Hotel Industry in a supervisory role, preferably in a 4* Hotel.
• Outgoing Personality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both English and French
• Impeccably groomed
• Customer-oriented
• Leadership skills
