LUX* Resorts & Hotels is hiring for the position of Room Service Supervisor for LUX* Grand Gaube.

 

  The Room Service Supervisor will be responsible to: 
1) Assist the Room Service Manager for the day-to-day efficient operation of the Room Service department.
2)  Promote and maximise upselling opportunities with our Guests.                                                                                                                            
3) Communicate with Guests as well as ensure that service quality standards and Guest satisfaction are maintained.                                                                                     
4) Monitor the order taking processes and ensure the timely service of foods and drinks.        
QUALIFICATIONS                  
1) At least School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
2) National Certificate Level 4 in Restaurant and Bar Operations or equivalent qualifications.
3) Tertiary education at Advanced Certificate or Diploma level majoring in Hospitality Management from a recognised institution or equivalent qualifications.
EXPERIENCES
1) A minimum of 2 years of working experience in the hospitality industry.                                                                             
2) A minimum of 2 years of working experience as Chef de Rang or in a smilar position in a 4 or 5 Star Resort.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
1) Passionate about service.                                                                                     
2) High level  of integrity.                                                                                           
3)Proactive, dynamic, flexible and professional attitude.
4)Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
5)Creative and innovative skills.
6)Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.                                                                                                                          
7) A keen eye for detail.                                                                          
8)Excellent written and communication skills in both English and French languages. A third language would be a definite advantage.                                                                                           
9)Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Package.                                                                                                                                   
10) Willingness to work during odd hours, weekends as well as on Public Holidays.
11) Valid Food Handlers’ Certificate.
12) A clean certificate of character is a must.
