JOB DESCRIPTION:
Deal with requests for FIT bookings & Quotes received from Tour Operators worldwide, from direct customers, Corporate companies and/or from any other source.
Promote the services of Solis ( Accommodation, transfers, excursions, weddings & golf) for Mauritius as main destination as well as other destinations : Rodrigues, Reunion, Seychelles, Madagascar & Maldives, when necessary and provide a constant consultancy services to our partners
Negotiate with suppliers to get the best prices / special deals, as and when required.
Liaise with suppliers on a daily basis, for booking of services such as; Accommodation, Transportations, excursions, weddings, golf and any other service which is requested by the customer
Input & update confirmed bookings on the Reservation’s Booking System, for maintenance of customer’s database, reservations and billing purposes
Issue invoices for the customers upon confirmation of the bookings
Issue supplier’s vouchers for all confirmed bookings which should be sent to our suppliers to re-confirm services booked.
For reservations which must be confirmed on Pre-payment basis, to follow-up and monitor payments in liaison with the Business Support team, as per defined procedures
Deal with supplier’s contracts and special offers for Tour operators
Deal with precision allotments of Tour Operators and those of Solis Indian Ocean
To do a profiling of the customer and upsell services as and when required
Work closely with the Sales & Marketing Team, in promoting a personalized approach to Tour Operators account management
Daily verification of arrival lists and provide necessary support to the Operations Team (Airport, Customer Care, Planning) when required
Any other business related to reservation activities
