LUX* Resorts & Hotels is hiring for the position of Receptionist for LUX* Grand Gaube.

 

 

 The successful applicant be responsible to:                                                                                                                   
1) Assist the Guests efficiently, courteously and professionally in all Front Office duties.                                                                                                                                                         
2) Maintain a high standard of quality Guest service at all times. 
3) Coordinate and ensure good communication is maintained throughout the resort.                                                                                                                                                    
4) Treat all Guests, Visitors and Colleagues in a polite and courteous manner at all times.                                                                                                                                                                                                            
5) Give full coorperation to all Guests and assist in a prompt, caring and helpful manner.                                                                                                                                                  
6) Anticipate  Guests' needs  whenever possible and react to these to enhance Guest satisfaction.                                                                                                                                                                         
7) Liaise with the Central Reservations Office  to ensure accurate and relevant information about arrivals are fully updated.                                                                                                                            
 8) Check, control, and update Guests' accounts by changing and recording all services consumed. 

QUALIFICATIONS

1) At least Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
2) National Certificate level 4 in Front Office Operation.                                                                                                        
3) Recognised apprenticeship will be definite advantage. 

EXPERIENCES:

1)A minimum of 3 years of working experience in the Front Office department in a 5 star resort.                                                 2) A minimun of 1 year of working experience in a similar position in a 5 star resort. 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

1)Passionate about service.
2) High level of integrity.
3)Excellent telephone skills.                                                                    
4) Good organistaional and multi-tasking abilities.                                                    
5) Sound knowledge of Opera Property Management System.                                                                                                                                       
6) Excellent grooming and personal presentation. 
7)Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French languages. A third language would be a definite advantage.
8) Pleasant and outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills.
9)Willingness to work during odd hours, weekend and Public Holidays.
10) Strong ability to respond and adapt to various situations and circumstances.
11)Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Package.
12) A clean Certificate of Character is a must.
