Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm.
Our client, in the banking and offshore sector, is looking for a Receptionist.
Reporting to the Personal Assistant to the CEO, the successful candidate will ensure the proper and smooth running of the reception and handle all telephone calls in a timely and professional manner.
Main responsibilities:
- Assist the PA in various administrative duties.
- Routing all incoming and outgoing telephone calls place through the switchboard.
- Attending to all overseas telephone calls and screening out calls when necessary.
- Profound ability to comprehend, carry out and explain complex verbal and written instructions.
- Answer, transfer and direct incoming calls using a computerized database for information access.
- Forward calls to appropriate departments and ensure that callers reach appropriate people.
- Instruct and organise conference calls, managing/diaries all boardroom meetings.
- Perform clerical tasks, e.g. cheques processing and filing.
- Attending to visitors.
- Manage stationery.
Qualification:
- HSC
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
Candidate profile:
- Excellent diction with a congenial and well-modulated tone of voice.
- Excellent written and oral skills both in English and French
- Strong competency with computer software and Microsoft Office.
- Multi-tasking and detail oriented
- Outgoing and pleasant personality
