We are currently a frontline receptionist provide Reception and Switchboard support to Orange Business Services.
Responsibilities:
1.Reception
To be the first point of contact for all persons entering the premises and to provide general assistance to them.
To advise the relevant member of staff when a visitor arrives to see him/her and ensure that the visitor is accompanied to the relevant department.
To keep a record of all contractors and sub-contractors who enter the premises to work.
To ensure that security regulations with regard to visitors/contractors are adhered to (wearing of badges whilst on site, reporting to security office where required).
To receive all mail that is hand-delivered and ensure that it is passed on to the relevant department without delay and signed for.
To ensure that all dispatches, such as DHL and TNT, are collected timeously.
To be generally responsible for the reception area, including tidiness, security, access control, and report any incidents to the General Services Manager.
To answer phone calls and pass them to the relevant staff member. When required take messages and ensure that they are delivered timeously.
To update the internal telephone list on excel each time there are staff changes and distribute as requested by the General Services Manager.
To manage the meeting room bookings.
To update Click and Fix database (premises maintenance requirements).
To upate Click and Badge database (issuing of ID cards).
To make hotel bookings for staff and visitors if required.
4.General typing.
Any other duties as requested by the General Services Manager.

Professional appearance and attitude
Clear speaking voice
Telephone Skills, Verbal Communication, Listening, Customer Focus, Organization
Basic computers skills, Microsoft Office ( word and excel ), willing to learn and improve
Honesty, discretion and confidentiality
Able to work with minimum supervision
