QA/ Test Analyst

The QA/Test Analyst is responsible for the delivery of QA and Testing in a timely and efficient manner through project documentation, extensive manual, and/or automated testing.

Reporting to the Development Manager, the Software Developer in Test is a coder who is primarily responsible for creating automated tests and improving code testability. You are passionate about software quality and enjoy refactoring code to make it simpler. You enjoy working as a team to identify which areas of the application to focus our testing efforts and increase code coverage. The test code that you write will help determine if the software is ready for customer release.

Responsibilities
· Fully understand the requirements for sometimes very complex reports
· Write & execute strategic test plans and test scripts
· Analyze test results and log bugs, follow-up to close bugs once fixed by Developers
· Use test automation to detect regression bugs throughout the developmet cycle
· Perform extensive upgrade/regression testing at end of each release
· Find ways to break the reports and prevent issues

Qualifications
· 2-3 years’ experience in QA
· Inquisitive attitude, ability to dig and ask lots of questions
· Deep knowledge of internet technologies, HTML and cross-browser compatibility issues
· Excellent understanding of the concepts of Software Quality Assurance in a software Reporting environment
· Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
· Proficiency with SQL and an understanding of relational database system
· Experience working
· Fluent English (written and spoken)
