Manage and oversee project controls for construction projects, including project planning, and schedule, cost estimating and monitoring, and quality review
Main duties:
- Establish operating policies to mitigate risks related to projects
- Provide guidance and consultation for project managers/QS team
- Oversee the tendering process up to the receipt of the payment certificate
- Monitor the claims management process
- Assist operations in putting in place systems and procedures for cost control
- Provide regular projects progress reports including schedule updates, forecast to complete, variance identification and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
- Additional qualification in Project Management would be desirable
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar position, related to the management of large construction projects
- Fully conversant with MS Project software and Microsoft Office tools
- Practical ability to utilize critical project management concepts (e.g., project planning, risk analysis, configuration management)
