Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, a leading international player in marine services, is looking for a Payroll Accountant.

 

Our client, a leading international player in marine services, is looking for a Payroll Accountant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating the seafarers and shore based employees’ payroll.
 
Main responsibilities:

  • Record and control inputs in our payroll system.
  • Record/import all necessary pay elements such as travel expenses, medical expenses, loan, training, deduction, bonus.
  • Calculate performance and area bonus, allotments if necessary, monthly checks of negative balances.
  • Double check with the crew department any mistake or in case of doubt.
  • Generate the DTA file.
  • Prompt reply to seafarers to any question concerning wages (client satisfaction)
  • Follow-up bank wires.
  • Support for AR invoices production.

Qualification:

  • Degree in administration and/or finance.
  • Min 3 years of relevant experience as a Payroll/ AR accountant in a multinational company performing operations linked with foreign currencies transactions.
  • Knowledge of Marine Industry will be a plus.

  • Good listening and communication skills
  • Extremely organized and rigorous
  • Ability to prioritize matters and meet deadlines
  • Willing to work independently and be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office/ Excel skills
  • Perfect command of French and English is mandatory
