DESCRIPTION:
The Operations Manager is part of the property management team. He is a responsible for the supervision and delivery of operational tasks of property assigned to him. He manages the on-site technicians / Facilities Maintenance team and prepares and implements preventive maintenance plan.
Working on a daily basis with service providers and contractors, he ensures delivery of agreed works as per agreed targets and within approved budgets. He also manages service contracts.
He prepares monthly operations reports, reviews operational expenses and budgets and delivers required information to the management team.

MAIN DUTIES:
• Assumes responsibility for the planning, development, and implementation of effective operations/facilities management policies, procedures, and planning.
• Assumes responsibility for the effective operations/facilities management of the building/precinct and the facilities thereof.
• Assumes responsibility for the security of all the facilities. Conducts scheduled inspections of security systems and implements improvements as necessary.
• Assumes responsibility for ensuring the efficient and cost effective administration of facilities and operations.
• Assumes responsibility for ensuring professional business relations with service providers, contractors, and trade professionals.
• Effectively supervises maintenance personnel, ensuring optimal performance.
• Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree in engineering field or Property Management, or any other equivalent qualifications in the related field.
• Prior working experience in similar position and proven track record at management level, in the property industry.
• Experience in a hotel environment and supplementary studies / training in management will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
• Electrical and / or plumbing troubleshooting
• Good leadership and management skills coupled with business communications skills and problem solving skills.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
