Our client, in the insurance sector, is looking for a Non-Motor Claims Handler (claims department)

The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to non-motor claims from inception to their final settlement.

Main responsibilities:

• Assist clients in lodging claims and in claims procedures to be followed.
• Record claim forms, statements from clients and witnesses.
• Initiate and monitor the claims development process and procedures.
• Instruct, liaise and discuss with loss adjusters, surveyors and other service providers.
• Assess and adjust claims.
• Negotiate with Insurers, Insureds, Agents and Brokers for the settlement of the claims.

Qualification:

• Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent
• Certificate/Diploma in Insurance, Law or related field and working experience in non-motor claims handling will be an advantage
