We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Specialist / Marketing Coordinator, to help us in our overall marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion.

 

  • •Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
  • •Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance.
  • •Participate in daily business review meeting, pre-convention meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required.
  • •Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers.
  • •Develop/maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers
  • The candidate shall be responsible for brainstorming, creating, and transforming ideas into words for articles, advertisements, publications, and brochures. Writes words and text for commercials, Internet content, websites, press releases, flyers, and direct mail literature
  • Perform search engine optimization techniques.
  • Revise, edit, and proofread content as needed or directed by the DOSM.
  • Respond to feedback in a timely manner to the DOSM.
  • Explore different ideas and concepts for both the visual and verbal elements in collaboration with the Marketing team.
  • Research competitors and keep abreast of market trends.
  • Update digital media with timely content.
  • Ensure campaign stays within budget.
  • Create and present storyboards of ideas.
  • Conceive, develop and produce effective advertising campaigns.
  • Generating creative ideas to build innovative campaigns
  • Develop a comprehensive market mix guideline and ensure sales as per those targets.
  • · Identify key customer needs through formal research, survey, sales calls & meetings.
  • · Build relationships, network and maintain regular contacts with corporate and individual customers, Tour Operators and hoteliers.
  • · Achieve targets set by the budgeting process
  • · Be informed about the trends in hospitality, changing customer needs and behavior, and developments in other industries.

  • · To ensure that all designed communication is error free and consistently of a high standard.
  • · To design all printed and electronic in-house promotional material as stipulated by the DOSM.
  • · To design all printed collateral for the various departments within the hotel as directed by the DOSM.
  • · To handle guest and employee inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.
  • · Assist with Social Media and additional hotel activities as needed.
  • · Demonstrate technical competence and creativity in graphic design.
  • · Strong front-end development skills and a creative eye that can craft beautiful graphic design for offline and online mediums.
  • · Understanding of layout styles for different sets of deliverables in different languages.
  • · Ability to design, layout and artwork deliverables using different programmes.

  • Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools (e.g. Dreamweaver) desired
  • Well-organized and detail oriented
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
  • BSc/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent
