Manager – Business Solutions (Ref# SILHR1702)

To lead, plan, coordinate and supervise all activities related to the design, integration and implementation of business solutions.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES           

  1. Assist the General Manager in the preparation of the company business plan and in the corporate strategic planning and policy formulation for the preparation of annual budget and in the implementation of international methodology and best practices in the business operations;
  2. To formulate and implement the operation plan of the cluster/group/dept based on the company business plan; regularly report on its progress to top management and recommend appropriate measures to address any shortfall;
  3. Responsible for day-to-day management, administration, operation, financial control, productivity and profitability of the cluster/group;
  4. Provide leadership and motivation to teams to attain set corporate objectives and assume the responsibility of coordinating, planning, controlling and directing of assigned activities of the cluster/group/dept;
  5. Schedule work and priorities and ensure effective and optimum deployment of human resources including development of appropriate skills, capacity building and knowledge management to meet objectives;
  6. Assist in the preparation of tender documents and in the finalization of contract functions;
  7. Ensure conducive environment for coordination between departments/clusters and groups;
  8. Establish and maintain good relation with all clients;
  9. Provide solution architecture direction for applications;
  10. Responsible for the optimal solution design by ensuring best technology fit;
  11. Apply significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to clients;
  12. Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of applications usage best practices;
  13. Perform any other related functions.

 QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • A post HSC degree in the field of ICT or Management or acceptable equivalent;
  • A minimum of 8 years relevant experience including a minimum of 4 years at middle management or Project Manager position in the ICT industry;
  • Should be well versed in multiple domains and technology products;
  • Knowledge in system analysis, design and development methodologies;
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and industry implementation methodologies
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Ability to work in a team as well as assume individual tasks with focus on deadlines and budget
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment;
  • Ability to conduct research into application development issues and products;
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and cross-group collaboration skills;
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
