Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, a Management Company in the finance services sector, is looking for a Manager Accounts.

 

Our client, a Management Company in the finance services sector, is looking for a Manager Accounts.

Reporting to The Director of Finance and Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for directing the team to deliver first class services to clients and growing the portfolio of client by assisting the team to develop strong and long-term client relationships.

Main responsibilities:

  • Formalising, recommending, reviewing and implementation of internal controls within the company’s processes and systems.   
  • Attend to audit queries and liaise with auditors and ensure finalisation of audit within relevant deadlines.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of a schedule of investments for a portfolio of Funds, calculate and reconcile NAV calculations.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Revenue Budget and analyse the revenue stream of the Company.
  • Liaise with key partners i.e. MRA, FSC, auditors and key providers in the financial services industry.
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks, carry out duties including projects and delegated responsibilities.
  • Ensure the team deals with points raised from periodic reviews and accounts preparation process in an appropriate manner and meet delivery targets.
  • Effectively manage the appraisal process for the team.
  • Provide feedback to the Business Development Team on pricing issues to ensure fee quotes are realistic.
  • Ensure that NAVISION and other relevant accounting software are being used effectively and efficiently;
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and apply this to the day-to-day administration of the Company's clients;
  • Ensure that you meet the company’s policy on CPD requirements.

Qualification:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA).
  • At least 8 years accounting experience in the Global Business sector.
  • Expert knowledge about IFRS.

Candidate profile:

  • Strong expertise in Tax and Tax Computations.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Solid organisational and resource management skills.
  • Proven team management, team participation and leadership skills.
  • Well-developed communication skills, Business analysis skills and technical abilities necessary to meet business needs and achieve the highest professional standards.
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, thorough and ready to work flexible hours.
