Maintenance Assistant

Assist the Superiors in achieving the company’s goals and objectives, with regards to the Maintenance Department. Desirable: Previous Experience and NTC 3 in Electrical Installation Work, Plumbing & Pipe Fitting or Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

• Carry out check repairs, maintenance of electrical wiring, electrical or electronic equipment; and any new installation of electrical system. Replaces faulty electrical apparatus.
• Maintain existing equipment; test repaired or updated items, and electrical work for safety.
• Check temperature & water leakage on boilers. Check water pump if there is no leakage in pump room.
• Check water level & reading of CWA inlet and reading outlet for other department, which are usually taken at least twice a day in the morning and afternoon.
• Repairs cracks and damage to surfaces.Install and repair hot water system, bathrooms and roofing pipes.
• Daily cleaning of swimming pool, and keeping “Pumps Room” clean and tidy at all times.
• Daily check of chlorine and PH (acid/ alkaline) level, and recording in appropriate logbook of quantity of product used.
• Daily check of swimming pool submersible lights (for fused bulb/s), and replacement of any bulb if necessary.
• Daily check of sewage treatment plant, and carry out any maintenance when necessary.
• To comply with safety regulations and procedures, and observe safety precautions and use safety equipment at all times while performing any task.
• Any other cognate duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by Management to facilitate the smooth running of the Maintenance Department, and/ or hotel
