To maintain production on the machines allocated to established standards of performance and to comply with Company’s Policies, procedures, rules & regulations.

The duties & responsibilities of the position shall include, but not be limited to those areas detailed below.

1. Operate machines / maintain production on machines allocated to meet established performance standards.

    

2. Maintain quality of production within specification.

    

3. Understand and comply with the Company’s Safety & Health policies / procedures.

    

4. Understand and comply with the Company’s Quality & Environmental Management Systems Policy, Quality Manual Procedures, Operating Works Inspections as they relate to an operator’s work.

    

5. Understand and comply with operator’s responsibilities regarding hygiene and work cleanliness.

    

6. Work as a team with other employees to ensure production efficiency.

    

7. Report to your Supervisor / seniors any deviations noticed in machine / equipment performance or in quality of product.

    

8. Carry out any reasonable request from your Supervisor and senior staff in charge.

    

9. Co-operate with any trials or changes to working practices.

    

10. Attend any courses / quality meetings / training sessions as part of your development and training program.

     

11. Suggest improvements to the working methods that may increase productivity.

     

     

     

     

Specific duties & responsibilities:

1. Carry out product packaging / handling, cleaning & warehouse duties as required.

    

2. Carry out product inspection, correct or report any quality problems that you find and keep accurate records as required.

    

3. Maintain housekeeping to the highest standards at all times, keep machines areas in particular clean, tidy and in safe conditions.

    

4. Carry out machine checks and keep machines in operation as required.  You must ask a team member to watch your machine if you have to leave your work place to undertake other duties.

    

5. Carry out machine operation servicing as advised by supervisor.

    

6. Monitor & check water tanks level/temperature & changing of filters as and when required.
