Lorry Driver/Salesman (heavy goods)

Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, in the retail/wholesale and distribution sector, is looking for a Lorry Driver/Sales man (heavy vehicles).

Our client, in the retail/wholesale and distribution sector, is looking for a Lorry Driver/Salesman (heavy vehicles).

Reporting to the Business and Sales & Marketing Managers, the successful candidate will be responsible for order taking in retail outlets, small shops and supermarkets.

Main responsibilities:

• Van / lorry Driver.
• Loading on van on a daily basis in the morning.
• Act as helper as and when required – Remove goods from van for delivery.
• Check & collect return goods from clients.
• Collect cash sales & remit to Account dept (Both on a daily basis). 
• Handling of customers’ requests & complaints and pass on to management.
• Report customers’ requests and complaints to management.
• Inventory of van / lorry every Saturday.
• Assist Van Salesman meeting every fortnightly.
• Ensuring that their van / lorry is clean and tidy.
• Clock in / out whenever they are entering or leaving the office area.
• Fill in of mileage form every day.
• Submit daily activity reports to Sales & Marketing Coordinator.
• Payment follow up.

Qualification:

• Min SC, at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Valid driving license (heavy goods).
