Java Architect - Mauritius

You will be responsible for maintaining multiple Java/Spring services and supporting future and current Java applications. Your day-to-day work will be characterized by coding and problem-solving, and you will work with a varied team of developers and UX designers.

THE POSITION

As a Java Architect at TeamEngine, you will define, expand and integrate our company's software architecture. You will be responsible for maintaining multiple Java/Spring services and supporting future and current Java applications.

Your day-to-day work will be characterized by coding and problem-solving, and you will work with a varied team of developers and UX designers located in both Stockholm and Mauritius. Our development team is highly motivated, and we are constantly looking for ways to improve our existing applications. We are expanding our team in Mauritius and looking for dedicated colleagues to join us.

The position is located at our office in Ebene, Mauritius.

ABOUT YOU
To succeed in this role, we believe that you have in-depth knowledge of software architecture & Java/Spring, experience with network design & security, and high-level Java programming skills. You are creative and like to find smart solutions by yourself, or others to achieve the best results. You can see the big picture needs of a company and you take your own initiatives to find opportunities for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree in computer science or software engineering
• Previous work experience as a Software or Java developer
• Experience working with microservices
• Proficiency with Java
• Some familiarity with Javascript
• Ability to solve complex software system issues
• Work proactive and have good communication skills

 It is merit if you have experience in:

• Information security
