Ile Des Cocos is hiring for the position of Island Manager.
Reporting to the General Manager at Tamassa, the successful incumbent will be accountable to:
•Plan, organise and implement, the smooth and efficient operation of the Island and villa on a daily basis and attend to special requests from Guests for Themed Nights, Special Events, Banquets, Weddings and Honeymooners.
•Ascertain that guest preferences and requirements are accurate and ensure the availability of all activities, entertainment, food and beverages, and Team Members prior to the arrival of guests.
•Ensure strict compliance with Maritime law when planning, organising and co-ordinating Island activities.
•Comply with Civil Aviation law and inform the local authorities before setting up fireworks display, given the Island’s close proximity to the S.S.R International Airport.
•Make provision for adequate security personnel and life-saver(s), ensuring that maximum security is given to guests on the Island and during transfers between the dock and the Island.
Degree or Diploma Level from recognised institution majoring in Hospitality Management or Tourism Management
•A minimum of 15 years of working experience preferably in the hospitality industry.
•A minimum of 10 years of working experience in Food & Beverage

•Willingness to work during odd hours, weekends and public holidays
A clean certificate of character is a must
