The Membership Sales Team is responsible for successfully selling the EcoVadis value proposition to database prospects and inbound leads, primarily over the phone. Target clients will consist of small to large companies across the EMEA market.
EcoVadis seeks an Inside Sales Manager (or a Membership Sales Team Leader, as we like to call you around here) to join our Mauritius branch and manage our new local sales team.
The Membership Sales Team is responsible for successfully selling the EcoVadis value proposition to database prospects and inbound leads, primarily over the phone. Target clients will consist of small to large companies across the EMEA market.
In this role you will:
Close new business consistently at or above quota level
Become an expert in CSR and Sustainable Procurement
Serve as a brand enthusiast for EcoVadis suite of products and solutions
Identify potential upgrading and up-selling opportunities within the EcoVadis database
Develop business in your assigned region by following up with Marketing inbound leads and cold-calling existing members in the EcoVadis database.
Lead by example by demonstrating EcoVadis’ core values and inspiring a culture of top performing team players
Display an ability to build confidence and trust with direct reports as well as provide developmental feedback for continuous improvement
Maintain headcount via recruiting, selecting, and training new talent for your team as needed
Given the steep growth of EcoVadis, your role and responsibilities will be permanently evolving and might encompass part, all or more of the above.
You must have an outgoing personality along with an exceptional level of drive and a desire to build a highly successful and effective sales team. You should have excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, as well as the ability to lead and coach people.
As a data-driven organization, you will be required to use a variety of measurement tools including Salesforce.com dashboards and reports, scorecards, and surveys to gauge the effectiveness of your work within your team.
What you need to have to qualify:
University Degree
5+ years of quota carrying experience, previous management experience is a plus, SaaS environment preferred
Experience coaching, leading and running a consultative sales process
Call center operations management experience will be highly appreciated
Superior coaching skills around sales opportunities
Fluency in English and French is a must. Proficiency in other languages will be a plus
Superior communications skills and the ability to capture an audience during a presentation
Interest or passion for Sustainability
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Demonstrate high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, Salesforce proficiency is a plus
Ability to work well in an international start-up team environment
