Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador for the company, ensure the quality of services provided are at the highest level to
- build a loyal clientele
- Learn about our range of Australian wines, spirits and associated products
- Enhance clientele’s knowledge of Australian wines, spirits and associated products and present product ideas in an informed and engaging manner
- Assist with attractive product display, price tagging and labeling of products
- Operate Point of Sale system and process payments
- Assist with inventory control and conduct physical stock takes
- Manage client issues in the most courteous, effective and efficient manner
- Assist the Regional Sales Manager in presenting at in-store tastings and other client events
- Provide support to the Regional Sales Manager, as required
- Build brand awareness throughout Mauritius Use knowledge of clientele to assist with the development of sales and marketing campaigns
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in a retail sales environment
- Knowledge of wines and spirits will be an advantage but extensive training will be provided
- Minimum Higher School Certificate level or equivalent
- Excellent client care and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic, motivated and a desire to continuously learn
- Experience in processing payments and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills (English and French)
- Ability to take initiative and work as part of a team
