Indoor Wine Representative

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador for the company, ensure the quality of services provided are at the highest level to
• build a loyal clientele
• Learn about our range of Australian wines, spirits and associated products
• Enhance clientele’s knowledge of Australian wines, spirits and associated products and present product ideas in an informed and engaging manner
• Assist with attractive product display, price tagging and labeling of products
• Operate Point of Sale system and process payments
• Assist with inventory control and conduct physical stock takes
• Manage client issues in the most courteous, effective and efficient manner
• Assist the Regional Sales Manager in presenting at in-store tastings and other client events
• Provide support to the Regional Sales Manager, as required
• Build brand awareness throughout Mauritius Use knowledge of clientele to assist with the development of sales and marketing campaigns

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years’ experience in a retail sales environment
• Knowledge of wines and spirits will be an advantage but extensive training will be provided
• Minimum Higher School Certificate level or equivalent
• Excellent client care and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic, motivated and a desire to continuously learn
• Experience in processing payments and inventory management
• Excellent communication skills (English and French)
• Ability to take initiative and work as part of a team
