IT Officer

Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, a leading international player in marine services, is looking for an IT Officer.

Our client, a leading international player in marine services, is looking for an IT Officer.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate will be in charge to ensure IT equipment availability and reliability on board vessels and at the office, and provide a local support on IT issues in accordance with the company IT Standards and by using support of Helpdesk.

Main responsibilities:

• Provide IT maintenance and support to sites and vessels: installing and maintaining workstations and infrastructure servers, network and telephone devices, local applications and back-up and UPS devices;
• Issue IT deliverables;
• Support the installation of telecom links between the corporate network and the site/ vessel (satellite links, leased lines, VPN, etc.);
• Signal any anomaly related to the IT environment;
• Comply with Corporate IT standards;
• Manage Internal and External stakeholders.

Qualification:

• Degree in Information Technology / System.
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in Information System (experience in vessels communications (VSAT) is a plus).

Candidate profile:

• Excellent technical skills: network, windows and exchange server, pack office software, telecom, application.
• Extremely organized and you interact, produce and report with a professional approach at all times.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, prioritize matters and meet deadlines.
• Analytical skills, proactive attitude and good communication skills.
• Willing to work independently and be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office/ Excel skills; Oracle; BI System; EDM.
• A perfect command of French and English is mandatory.
