• Diploma-level qualification in the IT stream with strong technical background and networking skills. • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in IT field of a Hotel of similar standard. • Possesses excellent English, maths and Good written and verbal communication skills.

 

  1. To provide Administration services, including:
    • contribution to technology capital & operating budgets,
    • communication point for technology issues.
  2. To provide Server infrastructure management, including:
    • to assist in the planning & design of the server infrastructure,
    • to assist in capacity planning,
    • to assist in performance monitoring,
    • to assist in operating system upgrades and/or patches,
    • to assist in trouble-shooting & restoration of services,
    • to assist in system backup & recovery procedures,
    • to assist in regular backup and integrity checks,
    • to assist in virus protection management.
  3. To provide network infrastructure management, including:
    • to assist in planning & design of the network infrastructure,
    • to assist in capacity planning (future growth),
    • to assist in implementation of the devices,
    • to assist in trouble-shooting and restoration of service,
    • to assist in management of 3rd party vendors.
  4. To provide desk-side support services, including:
    • service outage diagnosis,
    • desktop restoration / repair,
    • coordination of repair through 3rd party vendors,
    • troubleshooting & restoration of service,
    • virus protection management.
  5. To provide Systems Administration, including:
    • the creation of and maintenance user/group accounts,
    • user configuration,
    • trouble-shooting access problems,
    • completion of on-site documentation.
  6. To provide high levels of service and support as per contracted Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  7. To participate in property level, corporate-initiated technology implementations.
  8. To maintain & promote Four Seasons core technology standards.
  9. To maintain technology ‘best practices’ in respect to property systems.
  10. Assist in the co-ordination of new acquisitions, openings and major projects as required.
  11. To assist in developing and maintaining a core set of proactive maintenance processes which are performed on property systems
  12. Provide 24/7 support for mission critical systems.

    13.To perform any other duties and tasks as assigned.
