Housekeeper

Assists the Head Housekeeper to plan, organise and control activities of Housekeeping department as per standards

Qualification and Experience:

HSC level or equivalent / SC level with professional training and experience

Diploma with specialisation in Housekeeping from a recognized institution (NC4)

5 Years experience in hotels or resorts as Floor Supervisor

Computer literacy including hotel management system such as Opera, Micros, Win HMS…

Fluent in English and French both written and spoken, a third language would be an advantage

Other requirements:

Clear certificate of character

Live in the North

Act as a coach

Conduct on the job training on a regular basis

Follow up induction of new recruits

Makes recommendations to Superior on team members’ matters and promotions

Conduct and ensure that employees receive adequate and satisfactory on-the-job training

Ensure that discipline prevails within the team and communicates any disciplinary issues to Superior / HR Manager

Keep superior informed about all unusual matters concerning any plans affecting his/her area
