Assist the head store keeper in fulfilling duties relating to in-house storing and delivery activities.
1) Assist the head and assistant storekeeper during inspection of incoming materials and ensure adequate storage in designated areas as instructed. Reporting of discrepancies noted on orders received
2) Helping in the loading of products on lorries and deliveries as instructed. Be the last line of inspection for product verification during those activities. Ensure all returns are in original conditions as were delivered.
3) Regular verification of stocking conditions and report any product damage or deterioration.
4) Responsible for maintaining both product quality and quantity. To ensure stacking conditions are always neat and as required.
5) Exercise general control over all activities taking place within your working area under the instruction of your superior. Close monitoring of access of unauthorized personnel.
6) Inform head of section prior to removal of any items from the store.
7) Responsible for the cleanliness of the storage area. Housekeeping of warehouse is amongst your topmost priority.
8) Any other cognate duties as may be assigned to you by the management.
