Our client, an International company in the financial sector is looking for a Head of Operations
The successful candidate will be responsible for
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for system review and adoption to suit business and client needs.
- Responsible to guide team leaders in drafting Operations Procedures Manuals repository with contracts, detailing scope of services, description of processes, agreed reporting and maintaining a log with latest version and document status.
- Regularly liaise with internal Operations staff to assess service progress.
- Regularly liaise with existing clients to debrief on service progress and / or participate to conference calls with clients together with team leaders.
- Envision technical operational strategies that help achieving the targeted goals agreed with clients over the contract term.
- Manage and oversee the duties of the credit control team/s to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all processes and compliance with the credit policies and communication.
- Draft the Operations Procedures documents repository with Contracts, detailing scope of services, the description of processes and the agreed reporting for new clients.
- Review and analyse, together with the client, control reports to assess progress, comment trends, isolate issues and propose further actions.
- Continually review credit risk and provide guidance and support to Senior Management in the decision-making process.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with client, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a strong level of IT literacy.
Qualifications:
- ACCA qualified or Degree in finance or financial instruments
- Experience in Accounts Receivable and Credit within several companies or have worked for a Credit Management service provider.
Candidate Profile:
- Perfect command of English and French
- Proven track record in Collections, Accounting and / or Credit & Risk Management supported by relevant qualifications.
- Demonstrated experience of working in an A/R environment in a Management, Supervisory or Consulting position.
- Exposure to credit management packages
- Familiar with Microsoft Office package and Project Management tools. Strong Project Management skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Know how to define and formalize client's needs.
- Sales / After-sales and Operations oriented focus.
- Ability to operate at a senior level in collaboration with diverse internal and external executives.
- Ability to operate and deliver independently without day to day supervision, to set priorities and work to own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
