Our client, operating in the financial sector, is looking for a Head of International Banking.

The successful candidate will be responsible to build the necessary network to grow the Bank’s portfolio of offshore clients.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage cross border banking transactions and international desks to manage and grow international banking portfolio and transaction services.
• Facilitate and coordinate the International Banking operations.
• Develop new and improve existing products and services.
• Determine strategies to grow the portfolio.
• Determine key relationships to build within client organizations.
• Determine end to end solutions for clients’ strategic and transactional needs leveraging the Bank’s presence.
• Ensure international banking activities are carried out in accordance with all regulatory, legal, and governmental regulations.
• Partner with product specialists of the Bank (Treasury, Trade) to provide appropriate solutions to customers and close transactions.

Candidate profile:

• A minimum of 10 years overall experience including the offshore sector or international banking, with a proven track record in sales, account management and relationship management
• Well established network of international related businesses will constitute a definite advantage
• Must have experience in managing and delivering growth in international businesses
• Solid understanding of the business and market dynamics, key challenges and competitive landscape of the offshore business
• Strong leadership skills
