Our client (a well known international company) is looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Specialist.

 

Position Summary:

  • Support Human Resources by doing special projects and assisting with general administration regarding benefits, payroll, training and development, legal compliance, and other human resource issues.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with providing compliance in all areas of human resources.
  • Supporting the company in terms of correct procedures and policies
  • Managing and updating all HR Policies and Procedures and departmental compliant systems and processes
  • Ensure duties and responsibilities are performed in compliance with Group policies and local laws and regulations
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations and encourage a safety culture within the Group
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare the staff
  • Plan and organise different events and welfare activities
  • Managing the leave’s process and recording of all staff in the company
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, PAYE, end of year bonus, overtime, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met with applicable legislations.Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
  • Coordinate all staff incentive programs
  • Ensure payroll accuracy and ensure proper administration  and payment of all compensation and benefits of staff
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
  • Address employee issues or problems and maintain employee relations in a timely and consistent manner
  • Keep employee records and make sure the company is compliant with existing employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain employee personnel files to ensure legal compliance
  • Ensure that high level of confidentiality in terms of staff information
  • Provide additional administrative support to the human resource function including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry
  • Ensure efficiency in proper and accurate administration and filing of all documents pertaining to the HR operations
  • Administer employee health and welfare plans and act as liaison for the staff with the medical and catastrophe cover insurance brokers and insurance providers
  • Ensure medical assessment & Insurance claims processing of all new recruits and existing employees
  • Liaise with the company doctor with regard to the follow-up of medical assessments of employees
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Human Resources and Corporate Affairs Manager
  • Act as ‘owner’ of relevant elements in audits and ensure compliance with the associated responsibilities
  • Comply strictly with the code of conducts, ethics, and highest integrity standards of the Group
  • Support other HR functions as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of proven experience as an HR Coordinator/Specialist or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
  • Up to date with employment laws
  • Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Experience with HR databases
  • Outstanding communication (English & French) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Pays attention to detail
  • Good general administration experience.
