HR & RESOURCE PLANNER

The aim of this position is to have a global view (location, availability, technical level) of BIA Africa technical teams in order to plan in advance the activities linked to our business and ensure the best fit between employees and jobs while avoiding manpower shortages or surpluses.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategic function in relation with Regional HR Manager, Project Operations Manager, PM’s and After-Market Managers ;
• Have real-time visibility on the planning of our resources based on the skills level;
• Allocate our resources to the needs of our activities (right person at the right place) ;
• Determine short term and long term staff requirements versus availability in order to meet the business needs Formulate recommendations in terms of staff capacity evolution (increase/hiring and decrease/dismissals) ;
• Creating new and innovative forecast and capacity models to plan future demand and channel shifts (localisation) ;
• Good knowledge of Workforce Management tools. Identification and implementation of new technology for planning including the use, development or procurement of effective workforce management software (WFM) and or other in-house systems/Excel
•  Assist the HR Manager in his day to day activities.

EXPERIENCE

• Expert skills in Excel for modelling and scenario planning ;
• Knowledge of Mining and construction industry is a plus ;
• Good communication skills ;
• Experience project management in effective resource planning and using Workforce Management tool is a plus ;
• Bilingual French-English ;
• Around of 20% of travel ( >40% the first year) ;
• An experience of 2-3 years in human resources and preferably in recruitment.
