JOB SUMMARY

To provide an effective and efficient service to our mid/night shifts colleagues

To provide support and administrative services in a helpful and professional manner to Ceridian Customers, Managers / Directors and to the Compensation & Benefit Team

 

1. Organize Transport for employees on mid/night shifts

2. Maintenance / changes on our transport system whenever required

3. Handling request of employees on our transport planner

4. Sending reports to transport supplier

5. Sending reports to Payroll Team for travel deduction fees monthly

6. Recording of anomalies and exception on our transport system database

7. Regular meeting with Catering Services, share feedback on quality / quantity of food / complains

8. Employee relations (dealing with requests / queries from Managers, TLs, Colleagues) and reporting to HRM / HRD for prompt action

9. Meeting with nightshift committee members and provide support / helps

10. Providing information and advice on HR related activities to team members and customers

11. Managing any emergencies with regards to Health & Safety and First Aid

12. Accompany nightshift colleagues to hospital / clinics whenever needed

10. Maintain proper filling

11. Look after facility and basic health & safety at night

12. Help nightshift colleagues with queries / complains regarding their medical claims and provide assistance

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

General Co-Ordination

HR / Facility/ Transport / Claims / First Aider and other administrative experience and exposure is a plus

Knowledge of Mauritian legislation (IR) is a plus

Excellent customer service via telephone, and other forms of communication

Proficient knowledge of various office software (MS Excel, Word, Internet, PowerPoint). Strong written and verbal communication skills

Management skills is a plus

Ability to deal with confidential or sensitive information and handle basic conflict situations demonstrating a high degree of honesty and integrity

Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills

 

EDUCATIONAL/SKILL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

  • Certificate HR or any other related fields
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate – Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Previous experience using different software (HR, Transport, Administration)
  • Able to work night shift (17:00 to 02:00)

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

Experience with Excel an asset

  • 1 /3 years’ experience HR / General Administration
  • Quick Learner
  • Knowledge in First Aid / Health & Safety is a plus

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 

General office environment

Must be able to work in an environment of very tight deadlines

May be required to work beyond normal working hours to respond to client needs

May be exposed to behaviourally difficult customers on an occasional basis, occasional work interruptions, requirement to adjust work priorities, having to deal occasionally with unexpected deadlines
