To welcome guests to the Hotel, answer guest questions and resolve guest problems. To perform check in, check out duties and receive payments for guests.
Responsibilities:
Ensure prompt, efficient and courteous reception of guests
Record and administer arrivals and departures
Full awareness of current daily status of Hotel
Communication and recording of complaints
Be aware of daily functions, events, VIP and group arrivals
Ensure guest’s immediate requirements are catered for
Awareness of regular guest names & requirements
Receipt of payments
Issue safe deposit boxes and allow guest access in accordance with procedures
Always be aware of guests arriving, in house and departing who pertain to your language specialty and assist them whenever this is necessary.
Ensure all the guests that you have checked in, pertain to your language specialty or assigned to you by Guest Services Manager are contacted with courtesy calls as per resort standards.
Establish and maintain relationship with guests during their stay through eventual site inspections, courtesy calls, and assistance during the stay and visits in outlets.
To handle and follow up promptly guest issues or requests as per resort standard.
Provide support and assistance to Reception and Telephone Operators when required.
Assist Sales and Marketing Coordinator with site inspections/ hosting’s when required.
To carry out any other duties as required.
Requirement:
1-2 years of experience in a hotel environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English, French & German)
Computer Literate
Customer Service Skills
