LUX* Resorts & Hotels is hiring for the position of Guest Relations Officer for LUX* Grand Gaube.

 

Reporting to the Guest Relations Manager, the successful applicant be responsible to:                                                                                                                                          
1) Welcome, greet, answer and handle  queries of Guests in a professional manner.                                                                                                                                             
2)  Provide excellent service, assistance and guidance courteously to the Guests as per the LUX* Resorts & Hotels policies and procedures at all times.                                                                     
3)   Promote all the facilities and services offered at the resort.  
4) Be proactive and have knowledge on pre-arrival planning for appropriate Guest recognition.                                                                                                                                                                                     
5) Assist in handling Guest compaints and queries in a professional and courteous manner.                                                                                                                                                                                           
6) Take care of Guests from their arrival through to their departure.                                                                     
7) Contribute to Guest satisfaction at all times by providing high quality services throughout their stay.                                                                                                                                                                  
8) Coordinate the arrival, stay and departure experience to ensure a seamless experience. 
QUALIFICATIONS
1) At least Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
2) National Certificate level 4 in Front Office Operation.                                                                                    
3) Advanced Certficate or Diploma level in Tourism Management or equivalent qualifications. 
EXPERIENCES
 
1)A minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar position.
2)Prior experience in the hospitality industry preferably in a 5 star resort.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
 
1)Passionate about service.
2) High level of integrity.
3)Efficient, organised, dynamic and well groomed .                    
4) Basic knowledge of Opera System.                                             
5)Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French languages. A third language would be a definite advantage.
6) Pleasant and outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills.
7)Willingness to work during odd hours, weekend and Public Holidays.
8) Strong ability to respond and adapt to various situations and circumstances.
9) A clean Certificate of Character is a must.
