Key Responsabilities
• Managing on-going client relationships
• Handling Private Equity Funds
• Preparation of timely and accurate Net Asset Values
• Preparation of Financial Statements and managing the audit process
• Completing investor allocation calculations, including incentive and management fee
• Performing cash and position reconciliation
• Preparation of tax computations and filing of tax returns
• Participate in corporate secretarial duties
• Supporting the transfer agency functions
• Assist with training of new staff members
• Developing and improving standard workflows
• Participating in ad-hoc projects as required
Requirements
• University degree or professional qualifications (eg minimum partly qualified ACCA)
• At least two years’ relevant work experience, particularly fund accounting experience in the audit, hedge fund or private equity industry
• Detailed knowledge & understanding of securities and other financial instruments
• Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with Advent Geneva preferred
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• High attention to detail
• Proven ability to prioritize responsibilities, manage time effectively and meet deadlines accordingly
• Team player with a proactive and positive approach
• Willingness to work extended hours and some public holidays as may be required
