Our client is seeking to recruit a Front Office & Guest Relations Officer for its operation in Seychelles Island.
Responsibilities
Be the main point of communication between the Guests, Resident Manager and the rest of the departments of the hotel;
Assist in reservations duties;
Initiate and encourage recreational activities for guests’ participation;
Provide guest with all relevant information with regards to the services offered;
Ensuring that Front Office Area is always presentable as per the set standards of the hotel;
Log and manage all information with regards to guests and ensure its confidentiality;
To organise, lead or participate in guest activities where appropriate;
To daily coordinate and monitor the diving and fishing activities at the dive centre;
To ensure all procedures relating to diving and fishing equipment issued to guests are strictly adhered to and to develop appropriate procedures if missing;
Ensure that the tennis court and surrounding area is kept clean and tidy;
To ensure that the hotel boutique operates and that it is always kept tidy and bright.
Profile
Qualification in Hotel and Hospitality Studies or equivalent;
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role;
Fluent in either French or English language;
Fluency in a second European language is an advantage;
Experience and well versed in hotel software packages;
Able to exercise self-control and able to handle complaints, deal with difficult situations;
Be professional, courteous and friendly;
Be passionate about your interests and personal growth.
