The successful candidate will assist the Finance Director in reporting and the day to day running of the Accounts department.

Main responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements (Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet, Bank reconciliation, Cash Flow Statements and other financial reports)
• Ensure the timely filing of government reports (Corporate tax, NPS, PAYE, VAT, TDS etc)
• Oversee and review the posting of entries into accounting system.
• Ensure timely payment by debtors.
• Ensure the timely payment to creditors.
• Ensure Safe and sound internal controls and systems.
• To plan, develop and control all aspects associated with the completion of all local statutory reporting and tax issues. This will include General Ledger, Accounts receivables, Fixed Assets management, Bank Reconciliations, managing tax issues, and dealing with Internal and External Auditors.
• To produce monthly, quarterly and yearly Financial Statement as required by Management and local statutory institutions.
• To provide timely management information and advice to top management. To build strong internal control environment within the Finance responsibilities listed above.

Qualification:

• Degree in Accounting and Finance & ACCA Level 2 or above.
• 3 years’ experiences in a similar position and/or in an Audit Firm will be an advantage.
