Factory Manager (1738-FMgr)

Our Client is seeking to recruit a Factory Manager for its operations.

Responsibilities:

. Plan, formulate, organise and direct production activities

. Deliver the factory KPIs covering input levels, yields and efficiencies by optimising the utilisation of raw materials, human resources and equipment

. Deploy safe working practices and is responsible for the safety process

. Ensure that all products are manufactured to customer specifications

. Lead, motivate, develop and organise production teams. Review overall performance and identify training needs of subordinates

. Drive cost saving initiatives and ensure that budgets are adhered to

. Ensure that orders are executed to meet delivery schedules

. Drive the Tier accountability performance management system

. Deploy best manufacturing practices, lead problem solving activities and continuous improvement initiatives

. Coordinate capital investment papers and involved in key projects delivery

. Provide visible action oriented leadership

Profile:

. Graduate, preferably in Food Technology or Production / Operations management and experience in a manufacturing environment

. Focused and results driven professional.

. Strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

. Ability to work by self and as a team member.

. Ability to solve complex manufacturing problems.

. Broad knowledge of production management concepts including capacity planning, scheduling, quality control, inventory management, MRP and MPS.
