Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, in the textile and apparel sector, is looking for an Ethical Compliance Manager.

 

Our client, in the textile and apparel sector, is looking for an Ethical Compliance Manager.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will ensure development, implementation and management of a program of action designed to promote ethical behaviour in accordance to the company's core values and to promote creation of a positive corporate image of the organisation.  

Planning

  • Plan development, implementation and Management of Ethical & CSR policies for the Company.
  • Plan Review and implementation of all corporate policies to ensure consistency and integration with the company's ethical philosophy.
  • Plan, Prepare and monitor CSR budget.

Execution

  • Develop CSR strategies and framework in line with the core values of the company and monitor CSR initiatives.
  • Develop a structure that encourages employees to report suspected fraud or grievances without fear of retaliation.
  • Report to Top Management on a regular basis to review the progress of Corporate plan and assist with establishing improvement plans.
  • Manage all external monitoring of the Company's compliance level against international standards and clients.
  • Keep informed of all new or amended industry standards, trends, and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organizational processes and trigger necessary improvements.
  • Manage due diligence process (where necessary) to ensure of ethical conduct of suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for confidential handling and processing of complaints and allegations
  • Investigate and Manage allegations, complaints, fraud and conflicts of interest and report to Top Management.
  • Initiate and conduct training on Ethical decision making to avoid conflict of Interest.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of corporate governance requirements, compliance and reporting responsibilities and related legal benchmarks.
  • Leads crisis management situations related to ethics, governance and Compliance management in the organization.
  • Assesses ethics and governance aspects for all countries and new sites in which the company decides to set up.
  • Responsible to implement the UN Guidance on Ruggie Principle (Protect, respect and remedy framework) in order to better manage Business and Human Rights challenges.

Monitoring

  •  Overview all communication strategies within the company or with external stakeholders on topics related to Ethics, Governance and Compliance.
  • Oversee and monitor the implementation of the Corporate Plan for External Relations & communication, Environment, Health & Safety and Ethical compliance.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of corporate ethics and conflict of interest training.

REPORTS

Daily Reports

  • Investigation reports on any critical accident, incident, imminent risks identified in the company (If any)
  • Investigation reports on any major allegations of conflict of interest, Compliance, Fraud or other unethical behavior.

Weekly Reports

  • Report on updated Status of CSR Programs and new requests.
  • Update on any External audits done and major findings (if any).
  • Report on any major Ethical issues with any Major suppliers of the Company.

Monthly Reports

  • Report on Unit's audit performance and Grading.
  • Report on New industry standards, benchmarks, innovative systems and how this would affect the Company.
  • Due diligence report on Suppliers (If any).
  • New policies developed in line with company's Ethical Philosophy.
  • Summary Report of all major Trainings done in the Company.
  • Update on progress of implementation of UN Guiding principles within the organization.
  • Report on company's web page status & Comments and social media account.
  • Update on all publications, newsletters planned to be issued to enhance the image of the company.
