Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, in the engineering sector, is looking for an Electrical Engineer (registered).

 

Our client, in the engineering sector, is looking for an Electrical Engineer (registered).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of engineering designs. This includes all aspects of a project from scheme stage to the final details. 

Main responsibilities:

  • Responsible to provide the relevant information, in sufficient detail and relative to program, to the CAD technician to allow for the production of drawings.
  • Capable of working mainly without supervision, referring upwards as necessary.
  • Carry out site inspections and attend site meetings.  The review of the works on site forms a critical element of the duties, the aim is to ensure that the contractor is executing the works in accordance with the design, drawings and good construction practice.
  • Ensure that time schedules and deadlines for the production of documentation are met.
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD and Revit software is an advantage.

Qualification:

  • Relevant Electrical engineering degree, preferably Registered.
  • Minimum 4 years post-graduate experience in electrical engineering design.
  • 4 - 5 years including experience in high and low voltage.

Candidate profile:

  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles. 
  • Technically excellent with good knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
  • Experience in a wide range of medium to large-scale projects.
  • Good ability to communicate with the team and clients through sketching, drawing and in writing.
  • Organised and adaptable with a flexible approach to work.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, able to work under pressure and willing to take on new challenges.
